Happy Friday! It's a long weekend. Remember, there is NO SCHOOL this Monday. It's Memorial Day! I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend. We'll see you back here Tuesday Morning bright and ready to go.
As we're coming to a quick end of our year, please check your records to make sure your tuition and after school care fees are paid in full.

9:30 - YBD - PD Hike
2:30 - TFS 40th Anniversary Party at TFS - This is our final 40th anniversary celebration for the year. We have had several events this year celebrating families and students from past graduating classes, founding families, and friends through the decades. This is a celebration for our current families and students to wish our school a happy 40th birthday! Join us for cupcakes and birthday fun.
Wednesday, June 3rd - is a FUN DAY here at The Family School. We'll be biking, rainbow running, dance partying and having pizza for lunch! Here are some details for you:
Make sure to wear clothes it's ok to get wet/colored in.
8:30 BIKE RIDE - for Blue Door through Purple Door Students
Meet at 8:30 at the Midland Gate at the Grass Mountain Trail
Students must have a bike without training wheels and a helmet. No student will ride without a helmet.
We will ride to school on Midland property and arrive through the garden
9:30 - 10:15 Rainbow Run - ALL STUDENTS! This is where we'll get REALLY messy! Students will be running laps around the big field to music and getting doused with up to four different non-toxic water based colors.
Field Games - After the run, we'll be playing other "field games" chosen by each class.
Lunch - We will be providing a pizza lunch for all students!
2:15 Dance Party & Popsicles - We'll dance till school is over and have popsicles to keep us going!
Thursday, June 4th - Last Day of School (noon dismissal) Remember this is a NOON DISMISSAL DAY with NO AFTER SCHOOL CARE.
5:00 PM Graduation - You are all invited to our Graduation Ceremony. If you haven't seen our 5th grade class give their graduation speeches, I encourage you to join us. It is so wonderful to see these students share their thoughts, memories and dreams! They are always impressive to hear and see how well they speak in public.
