What is Chores for Change? Starting TODAY, Monday, Nov. 7, we'll be encouraging our students to do chores at home, or for grandma and grandpa, or whomever, for change! They collect the change until November 22nd. That day is our Turkey Trot and Thanksgiving Sharing at school. Have your student bring their change to school. The money goes to support a family during the holiday season. We get the name of a family and provide Christmas for them. We LOVE the support of our students for this! Our board matches funds from our laps during the Turkey Trot. Those matched funds are added to the Chores for Change. It is a wonderful way for The Family School to support our community. Thank you in advance.
Are you looking for a painter? Red Door parent Karma Lama does all kinds of painting, Faux finish, glazing, stenciling, Venetian plaster, wood staining, tile finishes. Murals, (a type of decorative art finish) He is considered a master painter/artist, not just your basic painter. He has worked for several years with Ty Warner (beanie babies) at his Montecito beach property antiquing his tiles.
Have a great week everyone!
