MY PATH TO EDUCATION
I have over 19 years of experience working with children from preschool through eighth grade, including 14 years as a Teacher’s Aide in TK, kindergarten, and first-grade classrooms, and more than 11 years as an Office Clerk in a private school setting.

WHAT SHAPED ME
My work has been shaped by years of listening closely to children and families, and by learning the importance of patience, clear communication, and trust. Thoughtful collaboration and strong relationships guide how I approach my work each day.

WHY SYV FAMILY SCHOOL
The serenity and beauty of the campus captivated me from my very first visit. Even the daily drive continues to inspire me. I feel incredibly grateful to work in such a beautiful place and to be part of this community.

IN MY ROLE
I hope students feel seen and supported, families feel welcomed and confident in their partnership with the school, and colleagues feel trusted and collaborative as we work together in service of children.

FAVORITE CHILDREN’S BOOK
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff — I love how it teaches cause and effect and sequencing in a humorous and engaging way.

OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL
I enjoy getting lost in a good book, vacationing, and going on walks throughout the valley and at the beach.
