WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SYVFS

I love just how special and unique this small, but mighty school is!

WHY I DO WHAT I DO

I do what I do because I believe teachers make a great impact on a student's life. I want every child to know that they are valued, acknowledged and loved when entering my classroom.

WHEN NOT AT SCHOOL

I really enjoy going on walks, going to the gym, exploring new places, and spending quality time with my daughter.

FAVORITE PLACE ON CAMPUS

The whole campus is so lovely, how can I only pick one? But if I had to choose; it would be the big field. It is such a great place to take laps with our students while enjoying the great views surrounding us.

FAVORITE SYVFS TRADITION

My favorite SYV tradition has to be “Dia de los Muertos” . It is such a fun filled day where students get to learn more about a culture outside of their own.

WE LOVE READING! HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS FOR KIDS:

  • Baby Blue by Judy Abbot

  • I Like Me by Nancy Carlson
