MY PATH TO TEACHING
I grew up in an education-centered family in Iran. Witnessing the academic, cultural, and emotional challenges children face inspired me to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for students to grow.
WHAT SHAPED ME
My experiences growing up in Iran instilled in me a deep appreciation for education, culture, and community, which guide my teaching philosophy.
WHY SYV FAMILY SCHOOL
I value the school’s commitment to family, community, and honoring individual differences while upholding its core values.
IN MY CLASSROOM
I hope students experience joyful “aha” moments, develop friendships, and explore ideas in engaging and meaningful ways.
FAVORITE CHILDREN’S BOOK
Roald Dahl collections - They spark imagination and a love for reading.
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL
I enjoy traveling with my family, Friday movie nights, baking, and playing the Persian instrument Santour.
