MY PATH TO TEACHING
I am currently enrolled at Allan Hancock College to continue my education. I was inspired by a kindergarten teacher I worked with who created a safe, loving, and fun learning environment. She reminded me why I love teaching and motivates me to grow in this field.
WHAT SHAPED ME
Every classroom experience has taught me the importance of patience, love, and consistency. I’ve learned how to teach in ways that ensure all children feel included and supported. Planning activities, working one-on-one with students, and being part of classroom routines have shaped my understanding of student needs.
WHY SYV FAMILY SCHOOL
SYV Family School stands out for its strong support system. Our administrators and colleagues are always listening, appreciating, and supporting staff, which makes all the difference.
IN MY CLASSROOM
I hope students feel safe, loved, and valued. I want them to enjoy learning, gain confidence, and feel proud of their accomplishments.
FAVORITE CHILDREN’S BOOK
Curious George – The kids love George’s silliness, and it never fails to bring joy in our classroom.
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL
I enjoy crafting, spending time with family, exploring new places, and relaxing at coffee shops.
