WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SYVFS
The serene location, welcoming staff, passionate families, and of course the amazing students makes SYVFS a truly unique and delightful place!
WHY I DO WHAT I DO
I strive to make learning enjoyable, relevant, and accessible to my students. I love watching the growth of the whole-child throughout a student’s educational journey.
WHEN NOT AT SCHOOL
When I’m not at school, I love tending to my herb garden, cooking, discovering new walking trails, and thrifting!
FAVORITE PLACE ON CAMPUS
I love the outdoor classroom outside of Blue Door. It is great to simultaneously hold lessons and connect with nature.
FAVORITE SYVFS TRADITION
I am still getting familiar with all of the SYVFS traditions, but something tells me I will love the monthly hikes!
WE LOVE READING! HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS FOR KIDS:
In My Heart: A Book of Feelings (Growing Hearts) by Jo Witek
A-Z Mysteries series by Ron Roy
